Calle San Andreu de la Palomera 8
Cockteleria Can Tirol is located right across from La roca de Sa Palomera — the rocky promontory that marks the actual start of the Costa Brava (Wild Coast).
We’re perfectly situated right in the middle between Blanes’ old town center and the town’s tourist district, opposite of what most tourist simply refer to as ‘the rock.’

Our comfortable terrace offers a fantastic panoramic view of the bay of Blanes. To the far left is ‘the hill’ topped by the ruins of the Castle of Sant Joan, and home to the botanical gardens of Mari Murtra. Below it is the harbor of Blanes, from which both fishing vessels and pleasure craft come and go.
Closer there is the beautiful beach that curves along the promenade, all the way to Sa Palomera.
The fishing sloops on the beach right in front of Can Tirol’s terrace are still in use today. Watch at your leisure as local fishermen launch their vessels and later return with a fresh catch.
Beautiful women, handsome men, and happy children relax in beween the sloops, while daring teens jump into the water from the side of the rock.
To the right is the S’Abanell, the longest beach at the Costa Brava.
And everwhere there’s the sea — in multiple shades of blue and millions of crystal-like sparkles where the warm Catalunya sunshine hits the water.
At the distant horizon cruise ships sail by. Elsewhere there are sailboats, fishing vessels of various sizes, and the ferry boats that service various stops along the Costa Brava.
Come and visit us any time.
